When I first heard the slow, moving melodies of Adagio I knew it was perfect for Brass Band. This arrangement starts in the famous latter half of the second movement, with the main theme starting with the rich timbre of the tenors and developing throughout the entire band, greatly utilizing the British Brass Band’s exceptional variety of color.
